Avraam Russo in concert, Palace Ukraine (103 hervonoarmiyska), 15 February at 19.00 Born in Syria, Avraam Russo started singing in a church choir as a child, and hasn’t looked back since. It was when he was a choirboy that his talent was first recognised, and after some opera lessons he drifted into pop and started touring, and taking over, the world. He achieved stardom in Russia after he performed with Kristina Orbakayte, the top singer who’s also pop legend Alla Pugachova’s daughter.
